Designed in partnership with a local custom builder, this home was thoughtfully specified from the ground up.

Samantha and John fell in love with the home’s feel and carefully considered selections, purchasing it as a young couple with their beloved dog. We were brought in to select everything from finishes to fabrics and furnishings throughout the main floor and upstairs bonus room, guiding the home from a spec house to something that felt distinctly theirs.

Their thoughtful inspiration boards gave us a clear sense of their aesthetic, leading us toward a transitional style with clean-lined, comfortable furnishings. We layered in wallpaper, stairwell paneling, custom window treatments, hand-knotted wool rugs, oversized artwork, and thoughtfully styled bookshelves to bring depth, personality, and a more collected feel to the home.

Partway through the process, Samantha and John found out they were expecting their first child, adding a new consideration to the design. We selected fabrics and furnishings with their growing family in mind while creating the relaxed, welcoming spaces they wanted for everyday life and entertaining. With plenty of room to unwind and host friends and family from out of town, the finished home feels polished yet personal, comfortable yet elevated, and ready for the life they’re building.
